So people want to hazard guesses on what it is about all the top dead apostles that makes them impossible to kill by normal means?

We know that Nero is a creature of Chaos which was probably why he was unkillable by normal means. And Einnashe is a gaint reality marble and illusion with no real central attack point. And then ORT and Brunestud are types.

What about the others though?

And as a side question whats considered the line for "normal conceptual means". I.E. does it have to be something magic related of a high degree or could you just drop a nuke on Einnashe to destroy it?

So far as the others I'm guessing that Strout probably has some issue with existing out of phase with time slightly that means he has to be killed simultaneously on several different periods in the time stream or something of that nature perhaps for total destruction. Making him vulnerable then perhaps to just the fifth magic (which I guess is time control of some kind).

Fina perhaps is a somewhat spiritual being of a higher level (based on his having a ghost ship), which means it is much harder to completely kill him. Perhaps similar to how Arcueid suvived being line cut but on a seperate level?

Zelretch perhaps exists on several different dimensions simultaneously in some manner?

What about Altrouge and her dog, nothing immediately suggests itself. Though I admit some vagueness on what Altrouge's signature power is. Lord of Blood and Contract isn't too descriptive for nailing things down. Perhaps just really hard to kill, but that suggests an aberattion in the definition as I understand.

No idea on the Dark Six of course since its the most ambiguous apostle by far.

1. Primate Murder- Even if he's the first DA, he'd be fairly easy to kill because Nasu never mentioned him having supernatural powers except he's human killing machine...

2. Dark Six- No idea...

3. The CM- Dead.

4. Zelretch the Wizard Mashall- This guy can hop around and gathers mana from many parallel universes... If he dies by some means, other Zelretch from other parallel could just move in. Also he's the most powerful human being yet, so I think if the Church tried to attack him, it would be very foolish, and there are politics too.

5. ORT- He's Type-Mercury. Zelretch or one of Brunestuds could match it if it's as powerful as other types described in Angel Note.

6. Rizo-wall Strout- This guy probably exist over time... The reason he's immortal is that he did something in far far future and to make that reality, he exists till that day (pure assumption.) So without changing course of history he's immortal...

7. The Forest of Einnasch- I think setting it on fire and runnign away will kill it. ;D Really. The trouble is when you get stuck in it.

If you approach it that way, you'd better do a thorough job of it. If even one iota of the forest is left, it could very easily regenerate into its own ecosystem.

lolz I'm pretty much of noob when it comes to this things. Don't know much about the back story of Tsukihime.

Can someone give me links to where I can read these deaad apostles stuff? I don't know much about Altrouge too 'cept that she's called the black princess. And what about Crimson moon too?

Sigh.... total noob.

8. Fina-blood Svelten- Captain of a ghost ship could be a reference... (Captain Morgan?) And since nothing special about him except him being a lolicon, I assume he possesses no advantage from ehh... not dying.

9. Altrouge Brunestud- All info about her is too vague to get anything out from her...

10. Nrnvqsr Chaos- Shiki killed him... so he's killable but since Shiki can kill anything, it wouldn't count.
Nrvnqsr did say that he can die if all 666 creatures die, so there is a way to kill him however, 666 creatures must die at once and most of them stay in Chaos, so it would be imposible to kill him... The important thing is, there is a way to rid his existence.

I think I'm posting it where I shouldn't.

There was an anime-style fighting game where people fought to kill different dimensional manifestations of the same villainess. I forget the game and the name. Oh well.

Well, in the case of Strout, I would expect that like Nero, he is technically possible to kill but practically impossible. Given that he seems to be a genius swordsman and has an incredibly powerful sword, he'd be almost impossible to kill by normal means, I expect, since there probably isn't anyone good enough to defeat him in a straight fight.

El-Nahat.

He may be one of the Dead Apostles down the list, but I hear he has an instant kill move too. Too bad it's a one-shot deal, and each time he uses it, he has to spend 200 years piecing himself back together.

What I think is that since the ancestors have existed for a long time as a powerful creature, they have become equally powerful in spirtual means. So the strength of the link between their spirit and the physical world can't be broken that easily. So using average conceptual weapons aren't powerful enough to break that link or kill their spirit.

I don't think physical damage like a nuclear blast will work on any of the ancestors either. Look at Roa in the original Tsukihime. His whole body got smashed by Arcueid's Marble Phantasm, but he regenerated by pulling his body back together. Consider the fact that he's not any where near as powerful as the original Roa or the other ancestors...

Arcueid was heavily weakened though by having to repair herself wasn't she? So couldn't you in theory kill them once, drag their remains into a room and keep shooting them while they regenerated until they ran out of SP basically? That's my question about just having a strong spirit.

I brought up the nuke comment since it would really destroy them at a high level. When Roa got cut up all his cells and stuff were essentially still normal, just splattered all over the ground.

I've brought this up earlier too incidently, but the normal dead apostles should be weaker during a new moon too I think right? (and of course in the sun) That might possibly effect things, it seemed to with Roa certainly.

Though ORT I would assume would have to be cut off from having a straight line to Mercury. All the Types and Type Spawn seem to draw a lot of energy from their original planets.
