So some /a/nonymous over at 4chan posted up a partial translation patch for Kagetsu Tohya.

This is a translation patch for some side stories in Kagetsu Tohya, using the translations available at the Beast's Lair forums (http://nrvnqsr.proboards20.com/), proofread and inserted by me. I made this for my personal enjoyment, but thought it would be a bit stupid not to share. Don't expect the amount of beta testing and polish Tsukihime has here, in fact, treat this as an alpha release - I wouldn't release this at all if there would be any chance of a complete patch coming out in the foreseeable future. 11 of 17 stories have been included, which sounds like much until you realize the longest story by far (Twilight Grass Moon) isn't translated, while the five shortest by far (Summer Festivals) are. |

That's normal. Threads die relatively fast at 4Chan, especially in boards like /a/ and /v/, they hardly last a day.
I'm gonna make a second install and test the patch...
... Opens the window then exits. I'm not on a Japanese computer, though, but it does that even with AppLocale. On the other hand, KT itself does the same with AppLocale too, so maybe I need to put the whole thing to Japanese again...

Seems to work ok here, well the translated bits anyway.
You don't need to use AppLocale or anything, it's like the Tsukihime patch. The only thing you really need to do is put the Kagetsu Tohya arc.nsa in the program's folder.

Got it. Unzip the Kagetsu Tohya folder, and copy the original arc.nsa into it, not the other way around (putting the patch into the original 歌月十夜 folder) like I was doing. Muh.
(surprisingly, that's exactly what the readme says, too)

LOL. The irony!!!! Baiken Could you tell me if they show a picture fight of Nanaya vs Shiki or not?

Nanaya vs Shiki ? No, only text, some FX and backgrounds. Portraits, sometime. Like in Tsukihime. There's no CG of Nanaya vs Shiki.

The ones that are translated in this forum. Tohno family con game, "Passing by Quietly an Early Evening" ("a story for the evening" in the patch), red demon god, dawn, and crimson moon.

In the Readme, the author also announce the presence of the 5 summer festivals, but i didn't find them. Does anyone have a clue?
