After beginning a rehaul of my desktop (since I had gotten bored of my old one), I was wondering what everyone else is using their backgrounds, themes, and other miscellaneous ways of prettying up their desktop ^_^.

I'm currently using this:

I still need some decent icons and possibly a new mouse cursor to go with it all I think; also going to look for a good Hayate background to swap to whenever I want to change my Rainmeter skin

I have a few Hayate ones, but none of them are of similar theme to the nanoha one, kai.
here's my current:
EDIT: changed my scheme.
yeah i cropped out some of the file names and such. so shoot me. either way, this is pretty organized compared to how the folders are inside... >.>;

That's right dual screens. Thumbnailed for those with limited bandwidth.

I like to keep my desktop organized, and I thought I had a relatively sparse desktop, but konrei wins, haha.

I wonder if the items on you desktop can reveal aspects of your character? OP is a programmer?

everyone's so clean on their desktops... so did some cleaning, that is moving mostly, a little bit of deletion, so here's my current desktop. definitely not canon, but its awesome.

yeah, since the back drop wasn't white, cropping would have been worse. enjoy black spray paint from paint.

Screencapping stuff, mostly. Then I get too lazy to close them and end up with twenty windows of Paint. Fun times!

I always keep my desktop completely clear, except for the recycle bin.
I find using the start bar more efficient than using desktop shortcuts.

Sorry for just typing this without a pic of my desktop theme I use, but I'm having trouble trying to bring a pic of my desktop up. I found out that the print screen button can take screencaps of the anything that's on the monitor, I tried that, but it doesn't even work. Is there something wrong with it.

Print screen just puts the image on the clipboard, you need to paste it into MS Paint or a similar program.

06adi has a dual monitor setup, and since the 2 screens have different resolutions, they have separate wallpapers.
06adi also prefers to keep his desktop clear of any shortcuts.
