Tougeki Damashii vol.8 have supposedly new info, as well as some new pics.

For the new pic, it seems that Executioner Ciel will be a playable character, and the temporary release date is in May. Also explains the different systems, but I'm not so good with my Japanese...

Wow that's great. A "new" playable character, even if (probably) she will be weaker than her MB React version.

Executioner Ciel?! That's not the Tatari of Ciel... The idea about a Roa/Ciel is still better personnally... Well, need to wait until may 2008 then!

Well it could just be a normal version of her where she uses her Seventh Holy Scripture to attack (obviously) kind of like how in some Dragonball games Goku and Super Saiyan Goku were seperate charcters, something along those lines. I mean it doesn't always have to be a Tatari version.

Errr... It's just artwork. That doesn't necessarily mean that Executioner Ciel will be a new playable character.

Though it would be cool anyway. As a Ciel fan I'd love to play as her, obviously. So badass.

Nope, I said "it seems that...", but if Executioner Ciel appears just beneath a new character I think it means something (until now she never appeared like this in any of the official artworks for the other Melty Blood).

Someone can translate fully all the information available?

It first explains the difference between the styles.
From the top of my head,
Crescent moon style = for people experienced in combo + fast movements, similar to the style MB was up to now. Although some moves have lost a bit of reach (what ?)

Full moon style = style based on powerful attacks. Some attacks might change a bit... ?

Half moon moon style = simple style with simplified "operations" (does it mean simple commands or maybe combo system ?) Good enough for beginners but also can use some fighting sense. (whatever that means)

Then speaking about the new character Riesbayfe (I already forgot how you spell it). Basically, she's a heavy hitter with shocks of around 5... nah that's too much - 2 tons. Don't underestimate the arm of a musician.

And...
"According to the visuals, it seems something already seen before will come back a little different".
And yes, Ciel was only seen in her full robe outfit save for her Seventh Scripture super portrait. If she does come back as Executor Ciel, I wonder if she'll be more melee-oriented ? Will put a briddle on the newcomers who just pick her and spam the Black Keys.

Musicians can be really scary sometimes. I know it by self-experience.

Now that I think, veteran Ciel players like me almost never use Black Keys. I sometimes use the 214A move to finish some combos, but I'm more a melee Ciel player. It's more effective, methinks.

I'm looking forward to how does this turn out. Impatient...

On MBAA, yes. This is a news site with news on a ton of stuff afterall, the article oon MBAA is fairly short lost in the middle of in all that. Look for the picture that was reposted here.
