To expand that a little more.... While Rin hasn't returned from London and can't give him orders, Archer does the minimum thing he can do to keep things advantageous in case the War becomes serious between the Servants. And that way is for him to keep a strategical terriory in the New Town at night. So that's why he fires warning shots to who ever tries to cross the bridge. But if that happens to be Shirou, he'll take the opportunity to kill him.

I think it's pretty good as a fun disc

But you see, that's the problem.

It's a fun disc. It should have been 1500 yen cheaper.

I think it has amazing contents for this type of game with great replay value. There was another major brand Hgame I bought just to have something to play till I get Hollow Ataraxia... and it only lasted 5 hours when it costed $50. I sometimes wonder what other game companies are doing.

Hm I just noticed there hasn't been any Bazett wallpapers... Does Bazett even have a wallpaper? I mean Karen has one so why not Bazett :'(. Bazett needs attention too :'[

the only one Bazett has, if I remember correctly, is a group shot one... but don't quote me on this since I'm not on the comp that has F/HA installed.

Another thing I was curious about!

Details of the Avenger class. Not the first time someone has wondered about it either. I believe I heard that Avengers are supposed to be weak but somehow bring on the hurt to their enemies.

Any hard facts on them that anyone is willing to share?

Just finished the 1st "normal ending" (no card game yet, 1st credit roll), and all I must say is ... Wow.

Beside the fan/fun/humor/moe part and the storyline part, I must say that what impressed me the most was...the powerfull and immersive narrative play.

From the beginning, with the animations (cutscene, characters "moves", showtimes...) and the bgm, I can really see BIG difference with the others Visual Novel.
There are many different ways to spice up a plain text, but in F/HA there are so many of them that I never got bored even if I couldn't understand a single sentence :

- Shirou spying naked Saber who talk with Rider : The use of black borders to simulate the door and switch from a speaker to another was excellent!

- Saber vs Archer : very intense scene, best is to just view it, the rythm with the text, the animations and the bgm combined are just splendid. A bit more animated and it could have been an anime cut.

- Saber football scene : very original way to show a scene that you can only see from far.

- Rider slideshow theatrical story : easter egg from Utena? Another good idea to combine "greek time" and "remembrance"

- Fate/Zero film : priceless! I could even say that TM was inspired by Hideaki Anno by choosing this kind of "play", I simply laughed all along.

- The mini-games : same thing, it took me several tries to not laugh all time while trying to clear the stages.

F/HA is simply worth his money if you can see all his qualities.

Of course, everything is not perfect, and I could say that :

- Hscene took a bit too much from the original F/SN Hscene, I know it is for fan sake but...they could have put more :P

- If you look from a global perspective, even with the many tree choices, the story is quite linear and the rest is fanservice (yes I know it is a fun disk and there are mini-games but still...I guess I must hate the Kagetsu Toya system that make you redo the game a hundred time)

- Too bad some teaser characters before release only had few stories (rider sisters, tiger relatives), but maybe I am missing some backstories.

- I hate the quizz, I had to screenshot all of them, AND some new were added at each reload :P

But overall, yes, it is a good Hgame, it is an absolute must have for the fan, and I just wished the Fate anime would be like this Fate, because it would simply rock.

Now back to the ilya's castle invasion :D

Forgot to ask something about the credit roll, anyone can tell me who are the wallpapers contributors and for what work they are "famous"? I could only screenshot the 1st roll and I can't find the credit roll in the replay section.

Not a so great pic compared to others, but still nice (and funny). Here it is.

For those who can't afford the game, maybe in the future I will try to upload some short video of the best sequences (prolly those I mentioned upper plus some mini-game demos). I will use HyperCam, if someone has better idea for recording software...

Edit: thank you for the link, it is really helpfull to track the last questions. I just wonder, what is the item does Tiger give you after the 1st quizz win? Why dont you have more reward for the 2 others?

for the wallpapers, if I remember, you can just mouse over the thumbnails and it'll tell you who the artist was. Also if you really need to see the credit roll again, you can replay the ending through the scene options and get the credit roll going.

For Tiger's 1st reward on the quizzes if I remember correctly, should be one of the wallpapers.

One of the reward for the Tiger question is sake which is necessary to unlock some events relating to nightlife at Emiya household. The quiz at night gets you access to the bathtub which is also needed to unlock events.
