EvoSpace, you have demonstrated to us once again that you are a living god. Or at least the Sixth Magic. Great job on the summary; it was a good read and very informative, though now I have a whole new set of questions. :) I look forward to the character descriptions.

Whoa, very nice evo. Still confusing as heck, but very nice nonetheless. Maybe if you have time, you can do some kinda analysis along with the summary.

Then again, for something like this, an analysis may just be guess work.

I was wondering about...

anyone planning to translate

Fate/hollow ataraxia in English?

and any progress on Fate/stay night translation?

i was working on Fate/hollow ataraxia demo version


i had to cancel the project...

because i had some technical issue

and check out the screen shots of

Fate/hollow ataraxia korean patch

Team Ataraxia is planning to release path within the

next two months, hopefully just after Spring 2006

What Arturias said.
The only full fan translations out in English for ero games are Kanon and Planetarian, if I'm not mistaken.
There'll probably be interest in a translation project for Hollow, but that doesn't really mean the project won't die half-way.

I wouldn't really call Planetarian an erogame. Heck, I wouldn't even call it a game. A big project that was finished, though, was Wind -a breath of heart-.

Believe me, if news of a Fate translation ever sprung up, news would be all over this board. :)

Thanks for the summary Evospace, you rock as usual and you are the rock of the west TM fan community ;)

Well, the only problem about FRAPS is....it can only record what is buffered in 3D video card and record game such as FPS (Half-life, Unreal...) so it doesn't work for most Visual Novel.

After many tries (Riverpast Screen Recorder, Camtasia Recorder, Bulent's Screen Recorder, Camtasia Screen Recorder and Deskshare Screen Recorder Pro) the only one that actually gave me a good ratio quality/sound was...HyperCam2 :P
I lose a lot in quality but the movie is good enough at 10fps which is the max I could get(5fps for the others, either using Xvid4 or software native encoder) for a decent file size. I wish I had the tools/software to make the same quality movies as the MB ones (30fps), I will need them for the others scenes :(

So updated the movies, removed the old one and replaced them with HC2 versions with sound, enjoy :P (just replace #.wmv by clip000#.avi with # between 0 and 3)

Edit: just tried to record a scene with the same settings, not too bad imo but maybe the sound is a bit too low...here is the scene with the peeping scene with saber/sakura/rider.

Hum I can't seem to find it, but maybe it is 4am :D
Anyway, if my 1st try is good, I will do saber vs archer then tiger-the-movie as they are my faves ;)
Unfortunately, as you can see in my 1st movie, a 4 min lenght with slow skipping mode is 15 Mo, I fear that your scene with auto read might go up to 10 min, that would make a huge file for my host (100 mo is my limit).

Ahhh... it looks like the account got screwed up, stassy. Guess that can't be good.

It might be better to try RapidShare or YouSendIt, that way it doesn't infringe on your own webspace.

In any case, thanks for taking the time to make these videos, providing people a better glimpse at F/ha. I look forward to those new encodes. :)

Well, it's a free account along with my ISP so it is better than nothing. Also I think I have a limited upload limit so I am not sure if I can send big files to the host you talked about RoyalKnight, I will have a shot though.

For HyperCam2, my version is 2.10.2.0, I set my FPS to 20 with keyframes every 100, using Xvid4 with a frame quality reduced to 50% (the compressor is set to default setting as I am a noob to codec). Sound is 8bit with 8k sample/s (minimal).

Edit: Oh well, guess you are right, and I have only 6 files on it, so I guess it is because of them huhu. I will find another host and upload that tomorrow.
