Have you ever heard of Akihas or Nanaya Skikis mother.
Do you have any informasion about her?

Well, as far as Shiki, about all I know about her was that Kiri referred to her as 'the woman' in Red Demon God. So we can at least presume they didn't have much in the way of a relationship. If I remember correctly, it was also mentioned that she was a pretty sickly person. One of those who inherited the downside of Nanaya breeding traditions?

As to Akiha's mother... How did I forget that she needed one? Was I mistaking her for Athena?

Members of Nanaya clan carries their psychic ability down through incest. They are thickening the powerful blood, or something... Nanayas and Ryougis are pretty similar in that aspect, if you think about it. Both families has their powers in heritage (but no incest for Ryougis,) but "failed" Ryougis go mad and Nanayas become sickly all their life...

Can't tell about Akiha's mother. Maybe she's one of those who didn't get to be mentioned?

Is *that* why Shiki's body is weak all of the time? Messed up genetics due to the Nanaya clan's incestous way of...existence?

That would be because he's being sustained by Akiha's life force, which is already sustaining two people.

It would explain why there's an Akiha ending, though.
