 Re-act music in Data00.p
« Thread Started on Oct 14, 2004, 10:13pm »

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew if the new music added in Re-act is accessable like the normal music is, by opening up the data00.p.

If it isn't, does anyone know if the Promised Moon OST has the Re-Act music?

Thanks.

To listen to the ReACT music, find an unpacker, like SUSIE or DragonUnpacker.

As for the second question, no, Promised Dawn was released before ReACT and does not include ReACT's music.

Neither program seems to be capable of opening the pack file for Melty Blood Re-Act. Is there something that's confirmed able to open it?

There's a certain plugin you need to be able to open the files with SUSIE. Unfortunately, the site of the plugin's creator went belly-up some time ago, so good luck finding it.

WINAMP doesn't seem to want to play it either.

Something must be up with your Winamp cause it plays just fine for me.

If you mean the LOOOOOOOOONG wait before it actually stops loading and starts playing, then yeah you have to wait a bit first.

What I did was use the write to WAV function on Winamp, then use something like Sound Recorder or Sony SoundForge to separate the music into individual tracks. I have a little over ten pieces from MB and MBR now.

Thanks, I didn't know a wait period was required. I mistook the lack of anything happening for it being an invalid play file.

If you have Susie, you can just rip .mp3's off the 10.p too.

I have this SUSIE plug-in, Ifll make it available on the Revolve webpage soon as many people have been looking for it for various reasons.

I would not recommend playing in Winamp until the files are extracted.

I've found that running them in Nero Wave editor and slicing them apart is quite effective. :P

And of course, if you can't find the Susie plugin, there's always MBExtract.

Okay, I know it took a few days, but someone reminded me about uploading the Susie plug-ins. You can find them by clicking here. Donft ask me how to use Susie or anything, because Ifm not supporting it. lol

Melty Blood's music can be found in "data00.p" and ReACT's music in "10.p"

Woe woe woe, wait a minc MBExtract works?

I'll post a link in the Revolve downloads page in a few days (I don't feel like doing the HTML work right now).

*edit* Here are a few pictures to help get Susie into English mode. Just pretend what you are looking at is in Japanese.

I think you can figure out the rest.
