As you ought to be able to see there, the auction is for the blue Tsukihime book and three other books by Takash Takeuchi, entitled with variations of Valkyria. And the person selling them is asking an incredible 150000 yen for them.
Basically my question is... does anyone know anything about what these Valkyria books are about? Are they at all related to the Nasuverse? I notice that Angel Voice is mentioned in the description, so I figured they could be.
In any case, any help with answering this would be greatly appreciated!
Valkria is an early work of Takashi Takauchi, which is no doubt in manga format. I'm not sure how much Nasu is actually involved in the making, but it does look like his best friend's works (namely Mahoyo) had some influence. From the information that I gathered, it's about Valkyrie, but what's different in this version is that she goes around hunting heroes and making them her servant, instead of the traditional myth of her collecting the souls of fallen heroes. It's supposedly a love comedy with some serious side to it. The reason Angel Voice is mentioned is because it is included in the Tsukhime Dokuhon, and he is adding it on the auction because of it.
It looks like each book is a story about three different Valkyries. This particular one is the last and probably the shortest one that was also included in the very early release of Tsukihime as a bonus. (The reason I was able to find a scan)
You could see that it's REALLY Type-Moon'ish ^__^;; 1. There's a person getting killed by a shower of swords from behind. 2. Villain with a strong determination of destroying the world, and he has believable powers to do so. 3. A boy meeting the girl by an accident. 4. "That day, he/you meet his/your destiny" is a quote from Fate. 5. Never finishes a story.

150 000 yen should equal $1500 US, depending on the day's exchange rates, which would translate (also depending) into about $2125 Cdn, not including taxes, shipping . . . hmph.

It's obviously clear why I resurrected this old thread. I finally found a copy of the other books~
There's 4 episodes in all - Valkyria 1 - Valkyria 1.5 - Valkyria 2 - Valkyria NEAV Saga
They take place in the same world, but just different time and focus on a different Valkyrie. I'm posting in the order of the best reading experience, in my opinion.
And yes I translated it! Would be great if someone can edit! Valkyrie 1 and 1.5 coming soon!
